Empowering Children and Young People

Nurturing independence skills, healthy choices and positive futures for Looked After Children and Young People

About Potteries Care

Here at Potteries Care, we believe in guiding the
Children & Young People in our care to have positive experiences with every opportunity available to them.

With their own Individualised Support Plan and hand selected Support Workers, we want them to thrive. Developing and reaching their full potentials - all within the safe, nurturing and homely environments we have to offer in our Supported Accommodation Packages.

Our core belief is to help to create positive futures and skills for life, for Looked After Children and Young People aged 16-18.

We work closely with Local Authorities and any other professional external agencies involved with each Child or young Person - as communication is key, in able to achieve the best possible outcomes. We also implore and encourage our Young People to use their voices and have a say in how their care is delivered. We want them to have an input - after all, it is their life we want to help them build.

Our Journey

Potteries Care was founded in 2024, during this time we have been acquiring properties and finishing them to a high standard, fit and ready for our Young People to move into with everything they will need.

All our staff members have been specially selected from their experiences, qualifications and personalities, ensuring they are the right fit for our Team and the Children & Young People in our care. We have spent a long time ensuring our policies and training are to the highest standards. We want everyone working with us, including Staff, Young People, Local Authorities, Education Providers and any other External Professional bodies to be happy and satisfied with our work ethic and background. This is of great importance to us.

The Children & Young People in our Care are of paramount importance and are the very heart of our company. We want them to have the best oppurtunities, outcomes and also enjoy their time with us. Having new experiences, building new relationships and enjoying everything Potteries Care have to offer. This includes monthly activities for each Young Person, group activities and experiences, along with multiple larger scale activities throughout the year. Also, reaching out to educate and give experience of different cultures and religious festivals - for everyone to try.

Everything we do, and will endeavour to accomplish, comes from our best hopes and aspirations for our Children & Young People.
